Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam to headline new K-drama 'Record of Youth' which will stream on Netflix later this year
Netflix confirmed the premiere of "Record of Youth" in the latter half of 2020.
The newest K-drama series will be starring Park Bo Gum, Park So Dam and Byeon Woo Seok.
Park Bo Gum will play the role of Sa Hye Jun who is described as "a pragmatic and ambitious young man, who is an aspiring model/actor juggling idealism with the reality of everyday life."
Meanwhile, "Parasite" star Park So Dam will play An Jeong Ha An, an aspiring makeup artist described as "a smart young woman and a strong sense of self."
Byeon Woo Seok will star as Sa Hye Jun's best friend Won Hae Hyo who is eager to prove himself by working hard, he is described as " friendly and gentle, but competitive."
"Record of Youth" is directed by An Gil-ho who is also behind the K-drama series "Stranger," "Memories of Alhambra," and "WATCHER."
It is written by Ha Myeong-hee, the creative behind "Doctors" and "Temperature of Love."
The newest K-drama series is produced by Studio Dragon and Pan Entertainment the same group who worked on "Winter Sonata," "The Moon Embracing the Sun," "Fight For My Way," and "Camellia Blooms."
"Record of Youth" will premiere exclusively on Netflix outside Korea, while tvN has the show's first-window broadcast rights in Korea. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
