IU drops the official music video of her collaboration with BTS' Suga

South Korean singer-songwriter IU just dropped the official music video of her comeback single "Eight" featuring Suga of BTS.

After teasing fans with a short clip earlier, the music video was released at 5 pm (Philippine time) where the Korean star was seen clad in an all-white dress inside a futuristic room.

Animations of herself clad in the same white dress running in a forest and flying with a creature were also featured in the video.

Although Suga was not in the music video, he sang some verses and was credited as its producer.

Previously, IU's agency EDAM Entertainment said she exchanged ideas with BTS' Suga in creating her new song.

"As musicians of the same age, the two singers were able to relate to one another and use that as a foundation for exchanging opinions. They created their own unique synergy, which is reflected in their song," EDAM Entertainment said.

IU is known for popular hits such as "Good Day," "Twenty-three," and "BBIBBI."
