Neil Gaiman admits he and wife Amanda Palmer are 'going through rocky times'
Neil Gaiman has confirmed that he and his wife Amanda Palmer hit a rough patch in their relationship.
"I see @amandapalmer has told people that we (like much of the world) are going through rocky times right now. It is true, we are. It's really hard," the British author wrote on Twitter.
He asked for privacy and kindness for both of them, as well as their four-year-old son Ash.

In a post on Patreon, Palmer said Gaiman has left New Zealand, where the family has been staying amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
"Neil moved to the UK, my heart has been broken, and I am really struggling," the singer said on Twitter.

She also responded to Neil's tweet.
"Thank you, Neil," she said, followed by a heart emoji. "Since many people are asking; no, what we are going through isn't a result of the lockdown or COVID."
"I love you all so much. I love Neil. This is all very hard. Thank you for your care," she said in another tweet.
