'Goblin' actor and BTOB member Sung Jae to enlist in military, band to go on hiatus
"Goblin" actor and K-pop star Yook Sung Jae has announced his enlistment to the military.
According to a report on Soompi, the BTOB member released a statement on Instagram to let his fans know of his decision.
"I didn’t know how to begin saying this so I thought about it for a long time. But since I was too far from any deep thoughts or concerns, I decided that the right thing was to tell you as soon as possible," he said.
"You will be very surprised, but I have decided to enlist in the military on May 11!"

Sung Jae also said that BTOB itself will be on hiatus as several members are currently enlisted in the military.
"Since Melodies are waiting for us, we will gain strength in thinking of the day we will meet again," he said. "Thank you for everything until now, and I ask for your continued support in the future!"
South Korean men aged 18 to 28 are required to render military service for around two years.
