EXO’s Chen is now a father—report

Congratulations are in order for EXO member Chen, who reportedly just became a dad!

According to entertainment news site Soompi, SM Entertainment has confirmed the news that the K-pop star’s partner has given birth to a baby girl at a clinic.

Citing a report by the Financial News on April 29, Soompi says the baby was born in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul.

The news comes a few months after reports about Chen and his “non-celebrity” girlfriend’s pregnancy and marriage plans initially came about.

Soompi cited a statement from SM Entertainment in which the artist announced he will be getting married and that a “blessing” has come his way.

Chen, whose real name is Kim Jong Dae, is one of the beloved members of EXO.
