'Venom' sequel gets a title, release date

A teaser trailer for the much-awaited sequel to the Tom Hardy starrer, Venom, was revealed by Sony Pictures early Wednesday morning (Manila time).

"Venom: Let there be Carnage" will be shown on June 25, 2021.

The release of the sequel has been moved back from October 2020.

Tom Hardy, 42, will reprise his role as journalist Eddie Brock and Venom while Woody Harrelson will play the villain, Carnage.

It can be recalled that Harrelson had a cameo at the end of the original movie, which was shown in 2018. -- BAP, GMA News
