Rupert Grint expecting first child with girlfriend Georgia Groome

Rupert Grint is going to be a dad!

The English actor, most famous for his role as Ron Weasley in the "Harry Potter" franchise, is expecting his first child with girlfriend Georgia Groome.

Grint's representative confirmed the news to US entertainment sites such as E! News and Page Six.

“Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time,” the representative was quoted as saying.

Grint and Groome have been together since 2011.
