'Money Heist' star Jaime Lorente hopes Part 4 will entertain amid COVID-19 pandemic
The much-awaited fourth season of hit series "Money Heist" is arriving at a particularly trying time as the world battles the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
But "Money Heist" actor Jaime Lorente, who plays Denver, hopes the release of Part 4 would still entertain their fans from all over the world, regardless.
"There's a great expectation for this one for the fans and in itself. Unfortunately, we're going to release this in a context where people are confined because of what's happening," Jaime said in a roundtable video call interview with the press which includes GMA News Online.
Jaime said he hopes things are different, "but everything that culture and entertaining world can somehow release in times of confinement is more than welcome."
The Spanish actor said they can assure that they worked on Part 4 with so much love, hoping it could entertain people who are currently stuck at home due to the unfortunate circumstances.
"Well, taking into account all the sadness of everything that's happening, I'm glad that the work we did was so much love," he said.
"It's good grief if we can entertain people that have been more at their homes," he added.
Money Heist Part 4 is now streaming on Netflix.
One of the show's stars, Itziar Ituño, who plays Raquel, earlier said she tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the World Health Organization's situation report as of April 1, Spain has a total of 94,417 cases and 8,189 deaths.
Spain is the second country with the most COVID-19 cases in the European Region next to Italy.
