Anne Hathaway confirms existence of ‘Princess Diaries 3’ script: ‘We all want to do it’

Oscar-winning actor Anne Hathaway this week had "Princess Diaries" fans shaking when she revealed that the existence of a screenplay for a third movie.

In an interview with Andy Cohen for "Watch What Happens", Anne confirmed that "there is a script" and that the cast definitely want to make another movie.

"We all really want it to happen, but we don't want to do it unless it's perfect," Anne shared, "We love it as much as you guys love it... we don't want to deliver anything unless it's ready."

"Princess Diaries", based on a Meg Cabot novel, premiered in 2001 on the big screen. It was Anne's first film and it instantly made her a darling to the audience. A sequel was released in 2004. — AT, GMA News
