Big Bang’s Taeyang announces engagement to Min Hyorin

South Korean singer Taeyang is set to marry his girlfriend actress Min Hyorin.

Taeyang, one-fifth of the K-pop boy band Big Bang, confirmed reports of his engagement on his Instagram account on Monday.

"I have pledged to spend the rest of my life with Min Hyorin, the one who has always stuck by me for the past four years. Through all the good times and the bad times, she has always believed in me and now I look forward to making a beautiful life together," he wrote.

Yonhap News Agency reported that Taeyang's agency, YG Entertainment, announced that the wedding would be held in February.
