Katy Perry disapproves of bad blood speculations about her breakup

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom revealed in a joint statement that they were taking a break from their relationship and in a recent Twitter post, Perry encouraged the public to stop spreading malicious tittle-tattles about the split.

"How about a new way of thinking for 2017?" Perry wrote, all upper case in her post. "You can still be friends and love your former partners! No one’s a victim or a villain, get a life y’all!”

On the same day, the "Chained To The Rythm" singer posted a video to show off her new platinum blonde pixie cut on Instagram.

Perry and Bloom were last seen together during the annual Vanity Fair Oscars party. A day after the party, Bloom posted a photo with Perry's pup on Instagram, with a caption, "a mighty heart."
