4th Impact wows X-Factor UK crowd with Christina Aguilera hit

All-Filipino girl group 4th Impact are officially part of the Top 6 contestants of international competition "X-Factor UK" after rocking Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man" for their fourth live performance on Saturday.

Following the week's theme of "Love and Heartbreak," sisters Mylene, Celina, Irene and Almira delivered another "brilliant, professional, sassy" performance, according to judge Simon Cowell.

However, he added, "Here's my only thing which I would be doing now if I was only your mentor. You have to bring out your individual personalities much more now. At the moment, it's so tight, the 4 of you, I kind of want to get to know you as individuals. And I don't think quite you've been given the song yet to get that over,"

Meanwhile, judge Rita Ora said that she liked it and thought it was "professional... [and] rehearsed," while judge Nick Grimshaw described it as a "proper entertainment from beginning to end."

Judge and Groups mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini gave the group a standing ovation after their energetic performance.

“Honestly, that wasn’t rehearsed. We had really tough week. They only got it yesterday. And I think because they are so professional and they are so tight always, sometimes it’s really easy to overlook the fact that they’ve come from halfway across the world, they are all the way from the Philippines, they are missing home...I have so much respect for you girls,” she said.

Mason Noise from the Boys category was eliminated from the competition.

Another elimination is scheduled on Sunday, November 22 (Monday, November 23 in Manila), with six remaining acts, including 4th Impact, Reggie and Bollie, Anton Stephans, Che Chesterman, Louisa Johnson, and Lauren Murray.

After being declared part of the Top 7 contestants last week, 4th Impact is set to perform on the X-Factor UK live tour, which will run from February to March next year. — Bianca Rose Dabu/BM, GMA News
