Benjamin Alves wants to play Quezon again in 'Heneral Luna' sequels

 

Kitang-kita sa mukha ni Benjamin Alves ang tuwa sa magandang resulta ng pelikulang Heneral Luna.

 

Si Benjamin ang gumanap na batang Manuel L. Quezon sa naturang biopic tungkol sa buhay ni Antonio Luna.

 

Naging patok sa takilya ang nasabing historical film dahil sa magagandang salita mula sa mga nakapanood nito.

 

Ayon sa huling balita, umabot na sa P245 million ang kita ng Heneral Luna sa takilya.

 

Dahil dito, sabi ni Benjamin, “We'll have next two films.”

 

Ang tinutukoy ng Kapuso actor ay ang dalawa pang biopic na balak gawin ng producers ng Heneral Luna.

 

Ito ay ang tungkol sa buhay nina Gregorio del Pilar (na ginampanan ni Paulo Avelino sa Heneral Luna) at Manuel L. Quezon.

 

Subalit hindi pa raw sigurado si Benjamin kung siya pa rin ang gaganap na Manuel Quezon sa susunod na pelikula.

 

“I have to get the go signal first if they want me.

 

“I mean, I'm hoping it is, I just don't want to assume.

 

“It will be nice. I still look forward to it.

 

“But, I mean, it's still up in the air, the script and everything like that.”

 

Ang tanging alam lang daw ni Benjamin, “I heard the plan was to make the movie sabay.

 

“Kasi I was afraid na if they do the Gregorio del Pilar now, and then they wait for it to finish and promote it, I have to wait four more years.

 

“Sabi ko, in four years, baka hindi na ako... mahirap na kasi bata 'yon.”

 

“So, I heard they're gonna do it the same time.
