How did wedding proposal on 'Marian' fare in the ratings game?
Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera finally admitted to the public that they have been engaged since 2012.
The two GMA-7 stars were crying when Dingdong knelt down and professed his love for Marian.
The Kapuso actor revealed that he first proposed to Marian at the Butterfly Pavilion, MGM, Macau in August 2012.
Dingdong admitted that he wanted to propose again to Marian because he wanted "to do it right this time."

The wedding proposal was aired last August 9 during GMA-7's primetime dance show Marian.
Dingdong mentioned in his emotional message to Yan (Marian's nickname):
“There’s nothing that I want and to ask for, but to settle down and have a family.
“Yan, sa tagal ng pagsasama natin… may isang bagay na malinaw sa akin—that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
“Kaya ngayon, saksi ang mga mahal natin sa buhay, gusto kong ipagsigawan sa buong mundo, na ikaw ang sagot sa aking mga dasal.”
In response, Marian gave Dingdong a kiss on the lips.

Based on overnight data recorded in National Urban Philippines last August 9, Marian scored a 22.8 percent household rating. The show hosted by Marian Rivera aired from 7:05 pm to 8:11 pm.
On that day, ABS-CBN’s Home Sweetie Home (HSM) registered 17.9 percent, Wansapanataym registered 21.4 percent while TV5’s Tropa Mo Ko Nice Di Ba?! (TMKNDB) got 4.7 percent.
Home Sweetie Home aired from 6:35 pm to 7:22 pm while Wansapanataym aired from 7:22 pm to 8:03 pm.
In Urban Luzon, Marian scored a 25.8 percent household rating compared to HSH’s 15.1 percent and Wansapanataym’s 17.9 percent and TMKNDB’s 4.4 percent.
Meanwhile, in Mega Manila, Marian garnered 27.1 percent over HSH and Wansapanataym’s 13.1 percent and 14.4 percent, respectively, and 5 percent of TMKNDB. -- read the full story on PEP.ph
