Bela Padilla finally gets closure four years after her rift with Marian Rivera

 

Ikinuwento ng Kapuso actress na si Bela Padilla sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang pagkakabati nila ni Marian Rivera pagkatapos ng apat na taon.

Matatandaang noong 2010 ay nagkaroon ng alitan sina Bela at Marian nang magkasama sila sa primetime series na Endless Love.
 
Bagamat pinag-ayos na sila noon ng GMA management, hindi pa talaga nagkaroon ng closure ang iringan noon ng dalawang Kapuso stars.

Kamakailan ay nag-guest si Bela sa weekly dance program ni Marian sa GMA, ang Marian.

Ano ang unang naging reaksiyon ni Bela nang nalaman niyang magiging guest siya sa show ni Marian?

Sabi ni Bela, na nakausap ng PEP sa pamamagitan ng email, “I was surprised, of course!

“She texted Sarah [Lahbati] to ask me.

“And I said yes to Sarah after double checking with my managers that I was available to guest on the date she sent.”

Matalik na kaibigan ni Bela si Sarah, na siyang naging tulay upang makapag-guest ang una sa programa ni Marian.

Nagkaroon ba siya ng alinlangan o second thoughts bago siya napapayag na maging guest? Umabot ba siya sa puntong muntik na siyang tumanggi?

Sagot ni Bela, “No, not really.

“It's been so long and I really wanted closure.

“I've been looking for a way lang, and that guesting was the perfect opportunity to do that.

“Even four years ago, when it [the issue] just happened, I was initially sad and scared, but I let it go right away.

“I'm not the type to hold grudges.”
 
THE FIRST MEETING. Pagdating niya sa GMA studio para sa taping ng Marian, sa muli nilang pagkikita ni Marian, ano ang naging reaksiyon nila sa isa’t isa?

Sino ang unang lumapit at bumeso? May naramdaman ba si Bela na awkward moment?

Saad niya, “I didn't know what to expect and I didn’t know that she was gonna introduce our dance number, but I definitely wanted to say hello.

“So, when I saw her in the studio, we just smiled at each other and she kind of opened her arms for a hug and I hugged her back.”

Nagtsikahan ba sila during taping breaks? Pinag-usapan ba nila ang naging isyu nilang dalawa?

Ayon kay Bela, “We weren’t able to talk so much because she had so many production numbers.

“But when I saw her, I said, ‘It’s nice to see you again after so long.’

“And I meant it, and I know that she knows that.

“And I don’t think it would have been appropriate to talk about our issue anymore.

“It's really been so long and I hope this is the last I have to talk about it.”

Sa ngayon ba ay masasabi ni Bela na tuluyan nang nawala ang anumang isyu o gap sa pagitan nila ni Marian? Maaari kayang humantong sa pagkakaibigan ang muli nilang pagkikita?

Sagot niya, “There’s no awkwardness or gap. Like I said, everything's okay na.”

Bago ang guest appearance niya sa show ni Marian, kailan sila huling nagkita? Nag-usap ba sila noon?

“About four years ago, but we weren’t able to talk 'coz we were so far from each other.”

Willing ba si Bela na tumanggap ng isang drama series na magkasama sila ni Marian?

Tugon niya, “I was always willing to, more so now that everything's settled!”
 
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS. Ano naman ang pakiramdam ni Bela nang tanghalin siya bilang Best Supporting Actress ng FAMAS para sa 10,000 Hours? Ikinagulat ba niya na siya ang nanalo?

Sabi ng 23-year-old actress, “Very fulfilling!

“In all my workshops, when I was just starting in showbiz and I was asked what my goal was, my answer was always to win an acting award.

“And because of 10,000 Hours, I got two this year!

“So, I’m very happy kasi, ideally, [I] thought Angel Aquino would win because she won the PMPC [Star Awards] award that we were both nominated for.”

Ano ang feeling na tinalo niya ang mahuhusay na mga aktres sa naturang kategorya—sina Angel Aquino, Cherie Gil, Coney Reyes, Aiza Seguerra, at Gloria Sevilla.

Saad ni Bela, “I don't think ‘tinalo’ ko sila, and matagal pa bago ko magawa yung na-achieve na nila.

“It just so happened that I was blessed to be cast in an awesome movie with an awesome director, an awesome production team, and awesome co-actors.”

Ano ang unang pumasok sa isip niya nang tawagin siya bilang winner sa FAMAS?

“Thank you in all caps was flashing in my brain.

“Wala, I was a bit shocked talaga kaya kulang-kulang yung napasalamatan ko sa speech ko nun, ‘coz I had to return to taping also of Sa Puso Ni Dok, so I was a bit more focused on that.

“But really, I am very, very thankful and happy with this new achievement that I can check off my bucket list.”
