Derek Ramsay culture-shocked by 'wild' women in a club

 
Kadalasan ng mga role na ibinibigay kay Derek Ramsay sa pelikula ay pinag-aagawan siya ng dalawang babae, gaya sa No Other Woman (2011) at A Secret Affair (2012).

Ngunit sa bago niyang pelikulang The Trophy Wife ay naka-focus daw ang istorya sa “obsession and revenge.”

Sabi ni Derek, “Yung obsession dito is not about the guy. It’s her obsession of getting revenge.

“May nangyari, e. Kaya ang dami ngang twists.

“When you see the trailer, every one’s reacting—that’s the reaction that we wanted to get.”

Masarap ba sa pakiramdam na kapag karakter ng isang lalaking pinagnanasaan at pinag-aagawan ang kailangan sa isang pelikula ay siya madalas ang napipili?

Saad ng hunky actor, “Mahirap na… I don’t want to be tagged as the guy na always, yun nga, pinag-aagawan ng dalawang babae.

“I’ve never done actually a movie na it’s just me and another girl. 

“Even noong One More Chance [2006], ako ang other guy. 

“That’s why this project, I really, really like because it’s not really like that, e.”

Nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang miyembro ng press si Derek sa grand presscon ng The Trophy Wife kagabi, July 22, sa The Library, Metrowalk.
 
OBJECT OF DESIRE. Natawa naman si Derek nang tanungin ng PEP kung sa totoong buhay ay marami ring obsessed na babae sa kanya.

“Nakakatakot yung word na obsessed,” sabi niya.

Ano ang ginagawa niya kapag may mga babaeng halos “nababaliw” sa kanya?

“You just smile and walk away.”

Wala pa yung natukso siya?

“No,” mabilis niyang sagot.

Patuloy ni Derek, “You have to think on the decision you make in your life.

“The mistakes you made in the past, you learned from it and, no, I use this head more than the other one.”

Hindi siya natsa-challenge sa mga ganitong klase ng babae na nagpapakita ng matinding interes sa kanya?

Saad ni Derek, “I give you an example… I went out the other night.

“I don’t go out anymore, but I went out to a club, and it’s a culture shock for me!

“Talagang I haven’t been out ages and... they [women] are all wild!

“I felt actually kinda disrespected the way I was treated.
