Bianca King finally opens up about breakup with Dennis Trillo

Bianca King is fine. Months after her breakup with Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo, the 27-year-old actress readily opened up about their split, which reportedly happened in November 2012. Bianca and Dennis’s relationship did not see a full year. The two GMA-7 talents’s romance began when both starred in the 2011 afternoon soap Sinner or Saint. The circumstances under which Bianca was mending a broken heart include her Canadian father about to undergo a quadruple bypass surgery and her 80-year-old maternal grandmother just diagnosed with cancer. “Talagang pinagdadaanan siya sa buhay ng tao,” Biance told members of the media at the press conference of her new soap, Maghihintay Pa Rin, held last night, June 3, at GMA Network Center’s 17th floor. The actress appeared rather composed when she recalled those tragic moments of her 2012. Asked how she is now, Bianca said that her father has thankfully recovered. On the one hand, she has learned to accept her grandmother’s illness.   Appearing to be the favorite apo, Bianca talked about grandmother: “Yung lola ko, mabigat pa rin for my family. Stage 4 na yung cancer niya,” Bianca said with a solemn expression. According to the actress, her lola will come home from the United States after chemotherapy. She’s gonna be under my care,” said Bianca.   DEALING WITH THE BREAKUP. “Okay ako,” Bianca quickly uttered with a smile the second she was asked about how she is after her relationship with Dennis ended. “That’s why tama ako… yung hindi ako nagsalita. "Otherwise, baka iniyakan ko kayo, bilang umiyak ako sa lahat!” she added, laughing. The actress said that her go-to people were her parents. Did she also seek Dennis’s company? The actress even told about the last time she cried. It was during that time she flew to Canada after her commitments with Sosy Problems, the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry she starred in with Heart Evanglista, Solenn Heussaff, and Rhian Ramos. “Tapos after no’n, tapos na. ‘Goodbye!’” That was January2013. Between Bianca and her Filipina mother, it was the latter who was hurt most. The actress recalled, “Mas heartbroken yung mommy ko! Mas nahirapan mag-let go yung mom ko.” This shows how close Bianca is to her mother. “I tell her everything. By the time Bianca was ready to let go, her mother was still holding on to the past. The actres even had to prompt her mom: “Move on na tayo. Wala na talaga.” In the interview, Bianca revealed that her mother and Dennis became close during the time they were still together.   LESSONS IN LOVE. That she can openly talk about the breakup shows that Bianca has moved on. She laughed when inquired about her greatest lesson in love. She first thought over the question, mumbling, “Naku, hindi tayo matatapos. Masyadong marami talaga.” Having loved fully is nothing that the actress regrets. If anything, it makes her happy to have gone through that— “Nadagdagan ako ng life experience!”   WILLING TO BE FRIENDS WITH DENNIS. Bianca hesitated to answer when asked if she and Dennis ended their relationship on good terms. “More of like… I don’t want to put him on the spot, e. Siguro, mas maganda na lang na hindi ko sagutin,” she smiled it off. Records show that Dennis is not the kind of guy who remains friends with his ex-girlfriends, namely Carlene Aguilar and Jennylyn Mercado. Bianca remarked, “Basta as much as possible, ayokong maging [part of the] statistic. “Gusto ko naiiba ako! So, kung puwede kaming maging friends, why not?” She pointed out, letting out a laugh, “Bakit naman hindi! I don’t have to love him or like him. But we can be friends! “Basta ayoko ng may bad blood.” If given a chance to rekindle their romance, is Bianca willing to be with Dennis again? The actress replied, “No. Final answer!” Being traumatized is not really the apt explanation to her last retort. “I know what I learned,” she stressed. Lastly asked what qualities in a guy she looks for now, Bianca kidded, “Wow! She hinted that a non-showbiz guy might be the one. More importantly, Bianca told that she wants someone who will be proud of her. “I’m set with who I am na. “Someone who will be proud to be my boyfriend and hopefully my future husband.”   POSTSCRIPT. Yes, Bianca is dating at the moment. During the interview, however, the actress only disclosed that the guy is a non-showbiz personality and stands out for being patient with her. In the actress’s words, “Parang siya yung nagtiyatiyagang magtiis sa mga kabaliwan ko.” -- Abby Mendoza, PEP
