PEP: Lovi Poe says every tattoo on her body has a meaning

For most people, tattoos are very personal statements meant to be worn with pride and flaunted openly for everyone to see.   Sexy actress Lovi Poe thinks otherwise, and always thinks twice about showing off her ink marks.   In a previous interview, she mentioned that one of the reasons she wanted to veer away from doing sexy roles was that people might see the tattoos inscribed on certain body parts.   "Before kasi I was even afraid to show my tattoos to everyone. I don't think everyone would think of it as beautiful," she said.   Lovi got her first tattoos during the first death anniversary of her father, King of Philippine Cinema Fernando Poe, Jr.   Those first matching pair, which reads, "My Wings. My Gravity," were inscribed separately on both sides of her ribcage.   Lovi said it was her way of remembering her father.   "He makes me fly, then, pulls me back to the ground," she explained about her tattoos.   Then, she added, "It's like a permanent scar. All my tattoos are for my dad."   Her latest was another text, "Quiet child," which was inked on her lower chest.   When PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked her if she'll be getting another one in the near future, Lovi still couldn't give a definite answer.   She reasoned out, "I love tattoos but I want tattoos that mean something to me."   Find out who among our other local celebrities got inked in this DUTDUTAN 11 gallery. -- Nerisa Almo, PEP
