PEP: TJ Trinidad remains mum about his reported engagement to Marga Valdes

Last February 2, Tim Yap stated in his Twitter account that TJ Trinidad is engaged to his long-time girlfriend Marga Valdes. He cited architect and designer Anton Mendoza as the source of his information. When TJ was asked regarding this development last night, February 8, during the premiere of My Valentine Girls at SM Megamall, he merely said: "It will be revealed at the proper venue. All I can say is that I am extremely happy." TJ and Marga have been together for the past four years. The GMA-7 actor wrote, produced, directed and starred in his original screenplay Mga Kinahinatnan ng Aking Kabalbalan (MKAK). Marga is the younger sister of international bag and accessories designer Bea Valdes. She is in charge of the sales and marketing team of their family business that creates luxury bags, jewelry and art pieces. Bea's creations have been featured in international magazines such as Vogue, Bazaar, Glamour, Marie Claire, and O magazines; and used by high-profile celebrities such as Sharon Stone, Kate Hudson, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Marga graced the cover of Town and Country Philippine Edition - August 2010 issue. She studied in the American University of Paris (the same school where KC Concepcion studied). In 2001, she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in history and social sciences, specializing in gender studies, political science and French. She lived independently in Paris and London for eight years.
