'Balota,' 'Firefly' lead GMA Network finalists in 2025 Lasallian Scholarum Awards

GMA Network has eight finalists in three categories at the 2025 Lasallian Scholarum Awards, De La Salle University's flagship program that recognizes outstanding media coverage on youth and education.

The awards event, which is now on its 20th year, will be held on March 13 at the DLSU Manila Campus. Winners will receive a Toym De Leon Imao sculpture.

Winners will be awarded in the following categories: outstanding published feature article on youth and education in a school organ, outstanding online feature story on youth and education, outstanding published feature story on youth and education in a nationally circulated publication, outstanding video feature story on youth and education, outstanding feature story on De La Salle University, and outstanding feature film on youth and education.

Meanwhile, an Outstanding Media Personality will also be named based on votes from DLSU campus journalists.
