Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez enters Top 8 of ‘The Voice USA’

Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez is now part of the Top 8 of the ongoing “The Voice USA” competition!

He shared the good news via social media and thanked his coach, Michael Bublé, with a heartfelt “Daghang Salamat” for the opportunity.

"I made it to Top 8! Thank you Lord and now it's in America's hands. Daghang salamat coach Michael Bublé for this opportunity. Not wasting this chance," said Sofronio.

Sofronio performed Roy Orbison's “Crying” during "The Voice" Playoffs, which received a standing ovation from Michael.

Sofronio also previously competed in “It’s Showtime’s” “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”
