Polo Ravales, fiancée Paulyn Quiza weigh in on him taking on sexy roles

In Mikee Quintos' show, "Lutong Bahay," Polo Ravales talked about fitness, love, and career, including his past sexy movie roles.

Mikee and Chef Ylyt visited the actor and his fiancée, fitness coach Paulyn Quiza, for the show's latest episode, which aired on Tuesday.

Among the questions Mikee asked the couple was if Paulyn ever felt jealous about Polo's past co-stars.

Paulyn shared that she hasn't felt jealous about any of the his co-stars, although she has reservations about him taking on sexy roles.

The actor agreed, saying, "If ever lang magpapa-sexy ako, depende sa partner. If ever, kumbaga, kailangan mabasa muna niya 'yung script."

His fiancée added that it depends on the director.

Polo also recalled one of his last sexy movies, "Silip," which was released in 2007. Directed by Joel Lamangan, it starred Polo alongside actresses Francine Prieto and Diana Zubiri.

He shared that he showed a clip of the movie to Paulyn.

"For me naman kasi, I think 'yung start na naging kami parang alam ko naman na alam niya 'yun," he said.

He also starred in "Walang Kawala" (2008) alongside Joseph Bitangcol. It was the last daring film that he did, and it involved a kissing scene with a guy, which he described as a "weird" feeling.

On whether he'd do it again, Polo quipped, "Depende. Siguro kung sobrang sobrang laki ng TF ko, tsaka pagka magaling 'yung director."

Known as one of the heartthrobs of the '90s, Polo rose to fame for his role in the Kapuso drama series "T.G.I.S."

He also starred in GMA Network's "Encantadia," "Maging Akin Ka Lamang," "Gagambino," and more.

He was likewise part of the cast of the drama series, "Lovers/Liars," a collaboration project of GMA Network and Regal Entertainment that aired in 2023.
