Marian Rivera hailed Actress of the Year by Esquire Philippines
Marian Rivera is Esquire Philippines's Actress of the Year!
On Monday night, the Kapuso Primetime Queen attended the men's magazine's "Man At His Best" awards night and accepted her recognition as the Philippines's Actress of The Year for 2024.
Esquire Philippines highlighted Marian's latest wins in the film industry, including "Rewind," being the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, and her Best Actress award at this year's Cinemalaya Film Festival for "Balota."
"This isn't a second wind; this isn't her second prime. This is Marian Rivera simply being Marian Rivera," Esquire Philippines wrote.
Marian starred in "Rewind," an official entry for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023, alongside her husband, Dingdong Dantes.
The film marked DongYan's return to the big screen since 2010's "You to Me Are Everything," and went on to become the highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
Marian also starred in the blockbuster hit "Balota," which had a nationwide theatrical release with new cuts in October.
