'The Chosen' star Jonathan Roumie to visit Manila for fan event on November 22
Jonathan Roumie, known for his portrayal of Jesus in the historical drama series "The Chosen," is set to visit Manila for a fan event on November 22.
The award-winning actor made the announcement in a video that was shared on The Chosen Philippines' social media accounts Monday.
"I have some very exciting news for you. We're going to have a live fan event in the Philippines this November 22nd. Yes I will be there personally. I wanna thank you so much for your love and support for our show and I'm so excited to meet our Filipino fans," said Jonathan in the video.
The fan event will be held in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, although the exact venue has yet to be announced.
Jonathan added that they have a lot planned for their Philippine visit and enjoined fans to follow @thechosentvph on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for updates.
According to The Chosen Philippines, the teal event is free, but slots are limited. Fans who wish to attend the live event may register through this link.
"The Chosen" is based on the life of Jesus Christ and the people around him amid Roman oppression. It is created, directed, co-written and produced by Dallas Jenkins.
Aside from Jonathan, the series also stars Shahar Isaac, Elizabeth Tabish, Paras Patel, Noah James, George Xanthis, Shaan Sharma, Giavani Cairo, and more.
The series premiered in 2017 and released its fourth season in February.
