Do Bea Binene and Louise delos Reyes regret leaving GMA Network? Actresses answer

Bea Binene and Louise delos Reyes paid a visit to GMA Network for their guesting on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

On Tuesday’s episode, the “Tween Hearts” stars shared updates on their present lives, including their careers after leaving GMA.

When asked by Tito Boy if they had any regrets after parting ways with the Kapuso network, Bea said, “Tito, regret, no.”

Bea shared that she's grateful for the 18 years she spent with GMA and that she learned and experienced so much during her stay.

“Siguro po, siyempre tayo we always want to explore and widen our reach, you know, the opportunities ganiyan,” she said.

According to Bea, she is currently doing freelance work while being handled by Viva.

Her last visit to the GMA building was before the pandemic.

“I’m still very grateful, it’s really nice to see everyone here kasi naging tita, ate, kuya ko na po sila,” she said.

And while Bea has no regrets, she acknowledged how one can get overwhelmed after stepping out of their comfort zone.

“Kasi when I transferred, and sometimes it’s nice to have that sense of familiarity, ‘di ba?” she said. “And sometimes you just miss being here, you just miss the company here because my friends are here. Again, this was like my comfort zone, this was like my home.”

Meanwhile, Louise, whose last visit to GMA was eight years ago, admitted that she has regrets.

“Pero ‘yung mga regrets kasi na ‘yon parang nagkaroon ako ng—parang naging OK na ako don. Kasi kung hindi dahil don sa mga ginawa ko before, hindi ako maging si Louise ngayon. Lahat ng pagkakamali ko noon, lahat ng wins ko nung time na ‘yon, eto ako,” she said.

Louise also shared that she feels if she didn’t do the things she did in the past, she wouldn’t meet the people she’s currently with and that she will “not have this knowledge and this heart for people now.”

Like Bea, Louise is grateful for the opportunities that were given to her by GMA.

“Iba ‘yung tibok ng puso ko kapag sinasabing GMA at kapag nakikilala ako na from GMA. Iba din ‘yung saya,” she said.

Aside from “Tween Hearts,” among Bea’s other GMA projects include “Luna Blanca,” “Hanggang Makita Kang Muli,” and “Kapag Nahati ang Puso,” while Louise starred in “Alakdana,” “One True Love,” “Mundo Mo’y Akin,” and more.

After leaving GMA, Bea took up a culinary course, enrolled in executive education courses, and learned Korean and Mandarin languages.

Louise also studied and is now the head pastry chef of a cafe aside from being an actress.

In November 2023, Bea and Louise reunited with their “Tween Academy: Class of 2012” co-stars Kristoffer Martin, Barbie Forteza, Derrick Monasterio, and Joyce Ching.

Barbie and Bea also had an unexpected reunion in July of the same year at a nail salon.
