SB19’s Stell, Pablo share their coaching styles for ‘The Voice Kids Philippines'
SB19’s Stell is set to return as coach in “The Voice Kids Philippines” and, this time, he will be joined by fellow P-pop group member, Pablo!
On Friday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the artists shared the coaching styles and techniques they'll be bringing to the competition.
For Pablo, he doesn't want to get too technical when it comes to the kids.
Kasi kapag naramdaman nila, parang everything else, makakalimutan nila at matatandaan nila ‘yung performance mo,” Pablo said.
He likewise acknowledged that since the contestants are kids, perhaps they may not have a deep understanding yet of the songs they'll be singing.
Stell echoed Pablo's sentiments on not being too technical when coaching the kids and shared that he wants to add something different to his coaching style this time around, which is building a connection with the kids' parents.
“I think more than my guidance, mas importante rin ‘yung guidance ng parents," he said.
According to Stell, he wants to persuade the parents to let their children decide on the songs they will perform and be supportive.
He also shared that aside from being a coach, he also wants to be an older brother to the kids in the competition.
Stell and Pablo will be joined by fellow coaches Julie Anne San Jose and Billy Crawford.
Julie Anne and Stell first announced in their concert last July that Pablo is joining them.
"The Voice Kids Philippines" will be airing starting September 15, 7 p.m., on GMA Network.
