Zack Tabudlo fanboys over NewJeans: ‘Your boy’s a Hanni bias’

Zack Tabudlo is over the moon that he was able to be part of the same concert lineup as NewJeans.

Before taking the stage at "Coke Studio: The Ultimate Fandom Concert," the OPM artist told GMA News Online that being able to perform on the same stage as his new favorite girl group “is already crazy.”

“I’m a Bunny,” Zack said in our interview. He even flexed a part of his concert outfit, the NewJeans Binky Bong or lightstick he attached to his jeans.

“I’ve been a new fan also, like a few months pa lang. And just seeing their thing, like their social media posts, is just surreal to me. Like, kinikilig ako every time they post something like their dance covers,” he added. “Being able to perform [on the same] stage as them is definitely really, really crazy.”

Zack also shared that he was starstruck upon seeing the members. 

“I think this is the most starstruck I’ve been also. I saw them kasi kanina backstage and sa tingin ko it’s been a while since I’ve really got stuck in my position. I didn’t do anything," he said.

The Filipino musician's favorite NewJeans song is “Bubble Gum.” When he saw them during soundcheck, he couldn't help but fanboy hard.

Later on during his performance, Zack told the crowd that he was nervous because he saw members Minji and Hanni backstage.

“As you can see,” he added, flexing his lightstick again, “Your boy’s a Hanni bias.”

Before exiting the stage, Zack interacted with fans and quickly danced to the choreography of the NewJeans hit, “OMG.”

NewJeans gave Filo Bunnies the best time at the concert as they performed their new songs like “Bubble Gum,” “How Sweet,” and “Supernatural,” and interacted with their fans.

Zack held his first major concert in April this year. He then performed at the Round Festival in South Korea in July.

Zack released his latest album “3rd Time’s A Charm” in November 2023, and called it his “most personal, vulnerable, and honest” work.

His other songs include “Yakap,” “Nangangamba,” “Gusto,” “Pano,” “Binibini,” “Give Me Your Forever,” and “Feel This Way.”
