Ruru Madrid rocks new hairstyle

Ruru Madrid is rocking his new hairstyle!

On Instagram, the Kapuso Action Drama Prince shared some mirror selfies of him showing his newly cut hair — and he looked nothing short of dashing.

“Bagong yugto, bagong tabas,” he wrote.

Fans and fellow celebrities can’t help but praise Ruru’s new hairstyle, with some of them calling him “pogi” in his new look.

Ruru is set to star in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry “Green Bones” alongside Dennis Trillo, Kylie Padilla and Sofia Pablo.

Directed by Zig Dulay, "Green Bones" is based on an original story by JC Rubio, senior documentary manager of GMA Public Affairs. The screenplay was written by National Artist Ricky Lee and MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza.

According to GMA Pictures, "Green Bones" tells the story of a man who is notorious for the grisly murder of his sister and her daughter. Already up for parole, a newly assigned prison guard takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars — no matter what it takes.

The film made it to the first five finalists of MMFF 2024, along with "And the Breadwinner is…," "Strange Frequencies: Haunted Hospital," "Himala: Isang Musikal," and "The Kingdom."

Ruru recently starred in “Black Rider” and is set to reprise his role as Ybrahim in the upcoming “Encantadia” spin-off “Sang’gre.”
