Marco Masa and Ashley Sarmiento have known each other for more than a decade already.

On Tuesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Sparkle stars said that they first met when they worked together on a children’s gag show.

Ashley recalled that she found Marco cute, while Marco’s first impression of her was funny.

“We’ve known each other for more than a decade po, and ‘yung first impression, actually, sobrang tagal and parang umabot na rin siya hanggang ngayon na kapag nakikita ko si Ashley, nakikita ko pa rin po ‘yung first impression ko sa kaniya,” Marco said.

“We’ve seen each other grow... Talagang nag-grow din po ‘yung friendship namin to best friends, and ‘yun po talaga ‘yung chine-cherish namin,” he continued.

Marco said that they just vibed together, and “Ang gaan po ng feeling ko sa kaniya, and I’m very genuine to her po.”

Ashley agreed, saying Marco has good humor.

During the “Fast Talk” segment, they were asked what their promise to each other was.

“I promise to never break our friendship,” Marco told Ashley.

“I promise to always make you laugh,” Ashley replied.

Ashley and Marco previously starred in “Black Rider” with Ruru Madrid.

They attended the recent GMA Gala together.
