Rufa Mae Quinto pays tribute to Mother Lily Monteverde in the most Rufa Mae way
Rufa Mae Quinto took to social media to once again pay tribute to Mother Lily Monteverde and she did it in the most Rufa Mae way!
On her Instagram, the comedienne shared some posters of the movies she starred in under Regal Entertainment along with a heartwarming message to the film producer.
"Mother Lily, Regal Films, her family. I love them so much. Thanks for all the nice movie projects you gave me. I'm so happy to be a Regal Baby. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the Monteverde family. Mahal ko kayo. Mother Lily and husband rest in peace," Rufa wrote.
She then expressed how much she misses Mother Lily and told her that she will always remember her "trust, opportunity, love and laughter."
Rufa also tagged Mother Lily's daughter Roselle Monteverde.
"When I saw you in the hotel lobby of GMA Gala night last month, I am so happy and know there's always a reason why things happened, happenings the beginning of a new life!" she said.
Ending her tribute, Rufa lightened up the mood and wrote: "Mother, no no no! I wanna say don't leave us but gotta go go go! Go go gone!"
In the comment section, fans can't help but tear up and then chuckle over Rufa's tribute.
"Peachy, tawang-tawa akoo! Hahahahahaha," a user wrote.

Mother Lily passed away on Sunday, just a few days after the death of her husband Remy. She was 84.
Rufa first honored Mother Lily in an episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," describing her as a "napakatotoong tao" who believes in the craft of filmmaking.
Following Mother Lily's death, tributes from celebrities such as Judy Ann Santos and Maricel Soriano poured on social media.
Mother Lily's wake began on Monday, August 5. Snooky Serna, Gina Alajar, and more celebrities attended to pay their respects.
