Nadine Samonte addresses guest list mishap at GMA Gala 2024

Nadine Samonte has addressed the guest list mishap that occurred during the GMA Gala 2024 last Saturday night.

On Instagram Wednesday, where the Sparkle star and GMA Network homegrown talent thanked her family and friends for their messages of support, Nadine said she'd like to move forward from the mishap.

"Appreciated all your sweet messages but this needs to end. I would like to move on and look at the brighter side of life," she wrote.

Nadine thanked Sparkle GMA Artist Center and GMA Network for reaching out to her and "looking into this matter to prevent any future mishaps," she said.

After thanking her team and her handler for their support, Nadine made sure to thank the Kapuso Network and Sparkle for reaching out to her. "It truly meant so much," the celebrity said.

On Saturday, the actress' stylist, Miss Keith, disclosed the GMA Gala mishap of Nadine on X (formerly Twitter).

In her post however, Nadine, emphasized that she never felt offended by GMA Network.

"Uulitin ko never po naging masama ang loob ko sa network at lagi ko nga sinasabi hindi magkakaroon ng isang Nadine Samonte kung hindi dahil sa GMA and I will forever be grateful for that," Nadine said.

"I'm always proud to be a Kapuso. Let's all spread love," she added.

Nadine attended the GMA Gala wearing a black gown by Miss Keith, complete with long black gloves, a pearl necklace, and a tiara. She also put a twist to her look by adding long white sleeves.

The third GMA Gala once again served as a fundraiser for the GMA Kapuso Foundation, which will benefit various charities.

The event saw the attendance of around 1,000 guests, including showbiz celebrities, news personalities beauty queens, internet stars,  politicians — and a few surprise guests — in their black, white, and sparkle best.

A home grown Kapuso talent, Nadine was among the avengers of "StarStruck" Season 1, which debuted on GMA Network in October 2003.

Last September, Nadine inked her contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center anew. She was among the Kapuso celebs who welcomed "It's Showtime" to the main GMA channel this year by gracing the stage during its premiere.
