Ninong Ry’s Malabon home is flooded, manages to joke about it

Ninong Ry’s home is flooded due to the intensity of Typhoon Carina.

The popular food content creator took to social media to share the current situation in Malabon, and managed to make light of the situation by cracking jokes.

On Facebook, Ninong Ry shared snaps from inside their kitchen, their editing room, and their garage partly submerged in flood water and said "Balita ko di na kayo binahaba sa Malabon ah? Kami na tiga Malabon."

On Instagram, meanwhile, he posted posted a Reel showing himself in his pajamas trudging through calf-length flood. Ninong Ry was moving a motorcycle by foot to an elevated dry area, and told somebody off-camera that he wasn't doing so because of the flood, but because he is cleaning the motorcycle.

“Carwash lang, medyo madumi eh,” Ninong Ry said, adding that it is an underwash and he wants it to be “malinis na malinis.”

Ninong Ry said his new business is called Boy Baha Underwash Cleaning Services. Another motorcycle was already placed in the area, and the vlogger said it was from one of their clients.

“Mineral water ‘yung ginamit namin dun sa cleaning pool namin kaya maganda talaga,” Ninong Ry said.

“Kaya sa lahat ng interesado, click niyo nalang ‘yung mukha ko, baka may lumabas.”

Shortly after, he shared another Reel from inside his editing room. As Ninong Ry and his team were seen trying to fix their computer wires, to ensure safety, the content creator, who was still in his pajamas, complained about his private parts dipping in flood water.

"Iligo mo na yan, p're," one of his staff said.

"Taga-Malabon ako p're. Kontektado na ko sa tubig," Ninong Ry responded.

Despite the jokes, he managed to highlight his hardworking editor, Jerome, who kept at his job despite the conditions.

Parts of Metro Manila is flooded due to Typhoon Carina, and heavy downpours from Habagat, including Quezon City, Marikina, Pasay, and as Ninong Ry has shown, Malabon.
