Nadia Montenegro says she had closure with partner Boy Asistio before his passing

Nadia Montenegro and her late partner, former Caloocan City Mayor Boy Asistio, were able to have their closure just before he passed away in 2017.

On Friday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the actress shared that she and her partner Boy were able to talk and have their closure just two weeks before he died.

Nadia said it happened when she was doing a prayer fast in a January. She texted him apologizing for all her mistakes when he replied and asked her to come down to his room so they could talk.

"When I went down to his room, that's when we started talking. We had a two and a half hour talk that we never had for 29 years. And it was one of the most amazing moments that I will thank God for because of the closure, the forgiveness," said Nadia.

Their relationship may have been filled with trials, but Nadia said she never gave up on him even though he had been unfaithful to her in the past. Their relationship was also filled with a lot of joy, as Nadia said that she couldn't see herself with anyone else.

"This is what's painful with this world hindi nila nakilala 'yung taong 'yun and until this day, for seven years that he's been dead, every day that I wake up, iniisip ko pa rin, 'Ano kaya ang sasabihin ni Boy sa akin?' Kasi he would always be fair, he would always do everything na walang masasaktan, walang malalamangan," she said.

Nadia also shared that Boy knew that Baron Geisler is the biological father of her daughter Sophia, who is turning 18 years old this August.

"All he asked me was not to tell her until he was gone and I kept that promise," she said. "Dahil ayaw niya magbago ang tingin ni Sophia sa kaniya."

She added that Sophia was aware of this, saying, "He loved everyone equally."

Nadia also confirmed on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" that Baron is indeed the father of Sophia after she was asked by Tito Boy to tell her side of the story. Tito Boy had referred to the interview that Baron previously granted to Ogie Diaz where he revealed he has another child.

Nadia made the confirmation, saying that she's sharing this to "put an exclamation to everything."
