Rufa Mae Quinto trends for ‘It’s Showtime’ guesting: ‘I approve myself’ to be regular host

Rufa Mae Quinto was a guest on “It’s Showtime” on Monday and it was everything!

The sexy comedienne opened the show and treated the Madlang People with her own rendition of “I’ll Never Go” by Erik Santos.

Rufa delightfully made it her own by singing, “I’ll never go go go far away from you.”

“Madlang People, welcome to me!” Rufa Mae said after her song. “Akala ko ako na rin ang host!”

According to Rufa Mae, it’s been a while since she’s last been on “It’s Showtime.”

“Pero ngayon, don’t worry everyday na kasi dito na ‘ko titira sa kanto,” she joked.

“I approve myself. Gusto niyo ba ‘ko mag regular?” Rufa Mae asked the audience.

Host Vhong Navarro then asked Rufa Mae about her goals before 2024 ends. She said that she wants her daughter Athena to study and get settled in the Philippines.

Rufa Mae also announced, “Gagawa rin ako ng libro.”

“Ang topic, to the highest level. Level one, two, three,” she said.

The commedienne took the opportunity to promote the comedy reality show, “LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines” on Amazon Prime, which is hosted by Vice Ganda, as well as her upcoming show, Todo na Tour Live in Montreal on July 26.

On Monday, #ShowtimeGowNaGow was among the trending topics on X with Rufa Mae also interacting with fans on the platform.

“I approve myself to be regular in the showbiz ness haha,” Rufa Mae wrote in one post.

"I regular myself haha," she said in another.

In another X post, she repeated her "It's Showtime" greeting saying, "Madalang people, what’s up? Must calm down . Keep calm carry on!"

Rufa Mae recently appeared on “Drag Den Philippines” Season 2 and “Sparkle U: #Ghosted.”

“It’s Showtime” made an epic debut on GMA-7 last April and had several trending moments. The noontime show is also aired on GMA Network’s GTV.
