Ben&Ben's YouTube account gets hacked

Ben&Ben's official YouTube account just got hacked.

On Monday morning, the nine-piece folk-pop band announced the unfortunate news on Facebook.

"Hello. Our Youtube channel has been hacked," Ben&Ben wrote.

"Our team is working on fixing things ASAP. We'll keep you updated, Liwanag," they added.

As of writing, Ben&Ben's YouTube account showed a cryptocurrency-related video, while their past music videos and vlogs remain visible on the channel.

Meanwhile, Ben&Ben's song "Kapangyarihan" featuring P-Pop group SB19 has become the official soundtrack of "Pulang Araw," billed as the biggest Philippine family drama series of 2024.

"Pulang Araw" traces the intertwined lives of four childhood friends: Adelina (Barbie Forteza), Teresita (Sanya Lopez), Hiroshi (David Licauco), and Eduardo (Alden Richards).

As war ravages their homeland and Japanese forces occupy the Philippines, their dreams, friendships, and loyalties are tested, leading them on a journey of self-discovery and resilience.

Written by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Dominic Zapata, "Pulang Araw" will premiere on Netflix on July 26, three days before its television premiere on July 29.
