Gabbi Garcia says Boy Abunda is her hosting mentor: ‘Learning from the best’

Gabbi Garcia made waves for her amazing hosting skills at the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 last month and she did it again at the recently concluded Miss Manila 2024.

On Instagram, the Kapuso It Girl revealed it was Boy Abunda who mentored her in her Miss Manila coronation night hosting stint.

“Learning from the best!” Gabbi exclaimed in the caption.

“Having Tito Boy mentor me for my hosting stint at Miss Manila 2024 was the first of many heartfelt learning sessions,” she added.

Gabbi expressed her utmost gratitude to the King of Talk for constantly checking up on her, “sending texts and making calls, just to ensure I felt his constant support and availability.”

“Your wisdom and kindness have taught me so much, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have you as a mentor for hosting,” she added.

“Thank you, Tito Boy, for your unwavering guidance and support,” Gabbi said. “You are truly a mentor in every sense of the word.”

Gabbi hosted Miss Manila 2024 alongside Catriona Gray and R’Bonney Gabriel.

It came at the heels of the Miss Universe Philippines coronation event, where Gabbi earned praise from netizens.

Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan was crowned the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 by Michelle Dee. She will represent the Philippines at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Mexico.
