Alden Richards entertains viewers with his ‘galit’ hosting at Miss Universe Philippines 2024

Viewers were entertained with the hosting stint of Alden Richards on the coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2024 on Wednesday.

The Asia’s Multimedia Star was among the pageant’s hosts and had the role of announcing the Top 20 candidates. As he announced the Top 20 finalists, viewers couldn’t help but tease him for his “angry” delivery.

Leading the pack was Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda herself, who didn’t miss the chance to join the fun train.

During the EXpecially For You segment of “It’s Showtime” on Thursday, Vice playfully poked fun at Alden by imitating his way of hosting and said, “Galit si Alden kahapon diba?"

Netizens also took to social media to share their hilarious reactions to Alden’s hosting, with some of them wondering why he seemed mad.

Meanwhile, on TikTok, a user made a hilarious entry using Alden’s voice. In the video, the netizen dramatically lip synced the Kapuso actor’s voice and even used an angry face filter to make it funnier.

“Gagalet ka Alden?” the user wrote.
