Jillian Ward dubbed ‘Pambansang Fiancée’ by netizens after receiving rings from fans

After receiving multiple rings from her fans, Jillian Ward is now being dubbed the “Pambansang Fiancée” by netizens.

In Cata Tibayan’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, the Sparkle star said that she feels overjoyed with the rings and the pretend proposals her fans have been making.

“Sobrang natutuwa po ako kasi kada nagpaparada po akong ngayon, ang dami pong nagbibigay ng mga singsing, ang dami ko na pong na-collect. Pati ‘yung singsing na may kalawang nasa akin pa rin po. Tapos meron din pong mga bracelets,” she said.

“Ang dami po nilang regalo so sobrang nakakatuwa po talaga kasi natatabi ko po siya, kumabaga may remembrance po ako galing sa kanila,” Jillian continued.

When asked how true it is that a co-star is trying to ask her out this Valentine’s Day, she answered, “Well, sinasabi ko nga po, ayoko pong maga-assume, baka friendly gestures po ‘yung ginagawa nila.”

“Pero basta ngayong Valentine’s po, sa trabaho ko, sa pamilya at sa mga nakapaligid po sa akin, I feel loved and I feel blessed,” she said.

The Star of the New Gen topbills the GMA Afternoon Prime drama "Abot-Kamay na Pangarap" as Doc Analyn Santos.

"Abot-Kamay na Pangarap" celebrated its first anniversary in September 2023. Jillian and co-star Ken Chan previously teased more intense episodes of the series. —Carby Basina/LDF, GMA Integrated News
