Carmina Villaroel asks netizens not to make a ‘big deal’ out of her posts: ‘Wala akong masamang ibig sabihin’

Netizens have been intrigued by who Carmina Villaroel was referring to in her recent birthday message and social media posts for her twins, Cassy and Mavy.

In Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Carmina said that she meant no harm in her recent messages and that people should not make a big deal about it.

“Ang sa’kin kasi, parang lahat na lang ng sasabihin ko or lahat na lang ng ipo-post ko, lagi na lang binibigyan ng ibig sabihin na ako naman eh wala lang,” she said.

Carmina continued, “So parang, huwag kayong masyadong mag-react, huwag natin masyadong gawing big deal, ‘di ba? Wala akong masamang ibig sabihin.”

Earlier, in an episode of “Sarap, ‘Di Ba?” Carmina couldn’t help but feel emotional as she gave the twins a birthday message.

“Hindi ko alam ba't sinasabi nilang ba't nangingialam ako, but I don’t care because I am your mother,” Carmina said. “Kung nangialam ako, hindi mangyayari ‘to. So it only means hindi ako nakialam.”

She also told the twins that she would always defend them.

“I want you to know, the two of you, that I will do everything and anything para sa inyong dalawa.”

In November last year, Carmina also gave them a reminder about rumors.

“People can destroy your image, damage your personality, create rumors about you but they can never take away your good deeds,” she said. “Because no matter how they describe you, you will always be admired by those who know you best.”

Her post came after her husband, Zoren Legaspi, also told their twins, “[It's] good to have GENUINE FRIENDS.”

The Legaspi family are currently busy with their own projects. Carmina stars in "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap,” Zoren is part of "Black Rider,” and the twins are hosts of “Tahanang Pinakamasaya.” —Carby Basina/LDF, GMA Integrated News
