Vilma Santos, Christopher de Leon look back on early showbiz days ahead of ‘When I Met You in Tokyo'
Vilma Santos and Christopher de Leon are set to reunite on the big screen with their upcoming film, “When I Met You in Tokyo!”
Vilma and Christopher recalled being booked and busy during the peak of their tandem in the ‘70s, according to a "24 Oras" report on Friday.
“There's one point, dalawa, tatlo ‘yung ginagawa namin,” Christopher said.
“Totoo. Sabay-sabay, minsan ‘pag nakikita kami sa set ni Yetbo, ‘Sino nga tayo rito?’” Vilma added.
Vilma also said that “it’s time to enjoy life,” which is why she doesn’t accept all project offers handed to her unless it is something that she really likes.
They also said that they are feeling grateful that they don’t seem to get separated by destiny as they are still together in politics after being on-screen partners.
“When I Met You in Tokyo” also stars Cassy Legaspi.
It is an official entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival, alongside “Firefly,” “GomBurZa,” “Becky and Badette,” and more. —Carby Basina/LDF, GMA Integrated News
