It was a mournful Sunday for all the friends, families, and fans of Matthew Perry after reports of his death were announced.

On social media, celebrities have reacted to the passing of the actor, who breathed into life Chandler Bing in the '90s hit sitcom "Friends."

While his fellow "Friends" headliners Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer have yet to take to social media to pay their tribute to Matthew, other "Friends" mainstays have issued their statement about the heartbreaking loss.

Actress Maggie Wheeler, who played his on-and-off girlfriend Janice on the show, posted a photo of them together on Instagram and shared sweet words about the late actor.

"What a loss," Maggie said. "The world will miss you[,] Mathew Perry."

"The joy you brought to so many in your [too-short] lifetime will live on," she added. "I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared."

Another "Friends" co-star, Morgan Fairchild, who played Chandler's mother in the show, also paid tribute to Matthew on X (formerly Twitter).

"I'm heartbroken about the untimely death of my 'son,' Matthew Perry," Morgan wrote. "The loss of such a brilliant young actor is a shock."

"I'm sending love & condolences to his friends & family, especially his dad, John Bennett Perry, [whom] I worked with on Flamingo Road & Falcon Crest," she added.

Meanwhile, American actress Olivia Munn dedicated several Instagram Stories on her account for the "Friends" actor.

"He struggled so much with addiction and was brave enough to be open and honest about it," Olivia wrote.

"I'm sorry to his family and friends who are getting this news today. Nothing short of heartbreaking," she added. "Rest in love, Matthew Perry."

Also piping in on X is Matthew's former elementary school classmate, Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau, who said his death is "shocking and saddening."

"I'll never forget the schoolyard games we used to play, and I know people around the world are never going to forget the joy he brought them," Justin wrote.

"Thanks for all the laughs, Matthew. You were loved – and you will be missed," he added.

Matthew's death was reported early Sunday (Philippine time) by TMZ. The actor was found "to have drowned" at a home in Los Angeles, California. He was 54.
