Darren Espanto reacts to Cassy Legaspi's Instagram post about Kathryn Bernardo being her real date to ABSCBN ball

Cassy Legaspi posted a photo with Kathryn Bernardo from the recently held ABSCBN Ball on Instagram and said the actress was her real date to the event.
The photo showed the two actresses in a warm hug, Cassy's black Francis Libiran ensemble and Kathryn's studded white Mark Bumgarner number providing the gorgeous dramatic contrast. Noticeable too was Cassy's smile — she looked like the cutest fan girl.
"My REAL date to the #ABSCBNBall2023," Cassy captioned her post with a sunnies-wearing emoji and a white heart.
Of course her actual date, the singer Darren Espanto, was among the first to react.
"Actually….I’m ok with that," he said punctuating his statement with a teary-eyed emoji and a heart.
Cassy earlier posted snaps with Darren and called him her "Partner In Crime."
The ABSCBN ball featured Kapuso guests, led by no less than GMA Network chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon and GMA Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group, and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.
Earlier at the GMA Gala in July, several ABS-CBN personalities also graced the event, including ABS-CBN president & CEO Carlo L. Katigbak and COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes.
The two media giants have started to collaborate in several projects including the historic "Unbreak My Heart" series topbilled by Gabbi Garcia, Joshua Garcia, Richard Yap, and Jodi Sta. Maria.
In July, GMA's GTV started airing "It's Showtime." At the contract signing, Gozon proclaimed that the "TV war is finally over."
The collaboration is only making these star-studded events even more stellar than they already were. Kudos!
