Complaint filed vs. vlogger Toni Fowler over 'obscene' music videos
The Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas (KSMBP) on Wednesday filed a complaint against vlogger Toni Fowler over her "obscene" music videos.
Atty. Mark Tolentino, the legal counsel of the KSMBP, said they filed three counts of violation of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code (RPC) in relation to the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 with the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office in connection with Fowler's three music videos.
"Kasi when you say freedom of press or freedom of expression, hindi absolute 'yan. May mga limitation ang freedom of press… the second limitation is Article 201 of the RPC. Ito 'yung nagbibigay ng mga obscene publication, indecent publication,” Tolentino said in an ambush interview.

"Like in this case of Ms. Toni Fowler, may nagpakita siya, kumakanta siya ng mga bastos. Aside from the — nagpakita din ng sex organs," he added.
(In this case of Ms. Toni Fowler, she showed something, she was singing about indecent things. Aside from that, they also showed sex organs.)
In the video for the song "MPL," Fowler and her dancers, many of them scantily clad, were seen holding and wearing sex toys while gyrating drunkenly. However, no actual sex organs were shown.
Tolentino claimed said there was also a minor included in one of the videos.
GMA News Online has sought comment from Fowler through her official Facebook page but she has yet to respond as of posting time. —KBK, GMA Integrated News
