'Maging Sino Ka Man' introduces 'Dino,' Monique's disguise

Dino has arrived!

As it caps the week off, Friday’s episode of “Maging Sino Ka Man” finally introduced Dino, the disguise of Barbie Forteza’s character, Monique.

Before transforming into her male cover-up, the episode showed Monique on her motorcycle being chased down by Jeric Raval’s character.

Monique was eventually pushed into a river, which had a bad impact on her limbs.

The limping Monique had to pull herself together and was able to return home, pack her things and run away, knowing that some bad guys were after her.

To become Dino, she tied her hair, put on a cap, and immediately got on a bus.

Later on, the bus had a stopover, allowing the passengers to buy some food.

Her disguise seemingly worked when a seller addressed her as “sir.”

Unfortunately, that did not mark the end of Monique’s misfortunes.

While she was busy buying food, a kid snatched her wallet, making her run despite her injured leg.

Monique was able to catch the kid, but then again, it was a small world. She ran into David Licauco’s character, Carding, who also caught her by the hood of her jacket.

“Pinagbibintangan mo ba ‘yung anak ko?” Carding asked the disguised Monique, who tried to explain that the boy stole her wallet.

She failed to convince Carding and went back without being able to retrieve the wallet.

On top of all that, when she returned to the area where the bus parked, it had already left, leaving Monique with no wallet, money, or luggage.

Earlier, Barbie said that she enjoyed dressing and acting like a boy in the series.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" is a remake of the iconic '90s film of the same title, which starred Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.

The special limited series airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also livestreamed on the GMA Network YouTube channel and GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream.—Carby Basina/LDF, GMA Integrated News
