Big Bert Armstrong, Judy reunite in ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ finale

Spoiler warning for those who have not yet watched the latest episode!

The final episode of “Voltes V: Legacy” finally gave its viewers the much-awaited reunion of Big Bert Armstrong and Judalah, or Judy!

In the middle of a fight scene, Big Bert bumped into Judy.

The two were surprised after unexpectedly seeing each other again, but immediately held each other in an embrace.

Bert was in disbelief and asked Judy why she had not told him she was still alive.

Judy explained that she did not want to be a burden to Bert, especially since he still has a big fight to conquer.

However, she’s still very happy to see Bert again and said that, aside from her brother, Bert is the reason she’s continuously fighting for her life.

She said that she promised herself that she would stay alive so that she could finally say sorry to Bert.

Bert looked intently into Judy’s eyes and said that she didn’t need to explain herself and instead asked Judy to promise that they would be together again after all of the mess.

“Oo, Bert, magsasama pa tayo,” Judy promised Bert.

After the chaos, Bert and Judy finally got their happy ending.

The two had a romantic walk on the beach and sealed their love with a kiss.

Played by Crystal Paras, Judy was introduced early in the series as a Boazanian slave ordered by Prince Zardoz to gather information on the Voltes V team.

She got close to Big Bert (Matt Lozano) to fulfill her mission, but she ended up falling in love with him. When she betrayed Zardoz, he sent Boazanian soldiers to hunt her down.

Interestingly, Crystal and Matt both performed theme songs for the series. Crystal sang the love theme "Ikaw Sana Ang Nauna," while Matt sang the ending theme "Chichi wo Motomete."—Carby Basina/LDF, GMA Integrated News
