Barbie Forteza says she enjoyed dressing and acting like a boy in ‘Maging Sino Ka Man’

Aside from David Licauco, Barbie Forteza also got a new look for their upcoming series, “Maging Sino Ka Man.”

In Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Barbie expressed her excitement that she got to dress and act like a boy for the project.

“Ang saya nung experience,” Barbie said, “Minsan pagka-nakayuko ako, medyo hinahawi lang din nila ako, ‘Ay, kayo po pala yan.’”

In the original film, Barbie’s character, Monique, disguised herself, but this will be changed in the upcoming TV adaptation.

“Iba na yung time right now, Gen Z period na, but at the same time, nandun pa rin yung talagang kumbaga yung flavor,” David said.

Earlier, the series unveiled its teaser, which hyped up Team Barda.

Other cast members, Juancho Triviño, Tonton Gutierrez, and Jean Garcia, also appeared in the teaser.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" is a remake of the iconic '90s film of the same name, which starred Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.

A previous teaser showed Barbie and David's evolution from FiLay in "Maria Clara at Ibarra" to MonDing in "Maging Sino Ka Man."

Fans have been excited for the series, as Barbie and David already gave a sneak peek at their dynamics during a script reading session and a reenactment of the movie's ending scene.
