Jasmine Curtis Smith, Rayver Cruz undergo combat firing training for upcoming series


Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Rayver Cruz are preparing hard for their upcoming series.

According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras” Thursday, the Kapuso stars underwent combat firing as part of their training for the upcoming GMA afternoon prime series “Asawa ng Asawa ko.”

“Masaya, masaya. Mataas yung energy ng lahat and I think excited ljulieahat matuto ng baril and mga different technicalities nya,” Jasmine, who already took a similar training for her role in the Philippine adaptation of “Descendants of the Sun,” said.

“Ano sya eh, bago ulit sya eh, for the most of us, di ba? So ang saya, ang saya ng may ganitong training and makikita mo pala sa training na nakaka-excite talaga yung show,” Rayver added.

“Ibig sabihin, ano eh, alam mo yun, maaksyon yung mga mangyayari so yun, abangan nila,” he teased.

Rayver has an upcoming film with Julie Anne San Jose titled "The Cheating Game."

Jasmine, meanwhile, previously starred in the film "In My Mother's Skin," an entry to the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.—Carby Basina/LDF, GMA Integrated News
