'AraBella' stars Shayne Sava and Althea Ablan say they turn to co-star Camille Prats for advice
On "24 Oras" on Monday, actresses Shayne Sava and Althea Ablan shared what it's like working with co-star Camille Prats on their upcoming afternoon prime series, "AraBella."
On the TV show, Shayne and Althea play sisters, Ara and Bella.
In Camille's comeback role, she plays Ara and Bella's mom, Roselle, who owns a chocolate confectionery business. Nearly 10 years ago, Roselle lost her daughter, but she's never stopped searching for her.
Is her long lost daughter Ara or Bella, and will the girls' relationship survive the fallout?
While working on the show, Shayne and Althea also shared that they've grown close.
"Pareho kami tahimik, pero 'yun nagkasundo kami sa vibe namin, sa mga kalokohan namin," Althea said.
Shayne also added, "Super duper smooth lang po kasi syempre close na kami together so it's not hard po to connect with her and syempre, sa iba pa mga cast dito."
Their bond also helped with their tough scenes on the show.
Shayne said, "In terms po sa mga emotional scenes, mas mabibigat po sya. Mas iba po 'yung pinagdadaanan nya."
In terms of Althea's character, Althea added, "Mas kontrabida sa kanya, lahat ng ginagawa nya, ayoko makita. Inaaway ko sya palagi, pero in person, hindi naman ako ganun na galit ako [kay Shayne]."
The series also boasts of veteran artists Alfred Vargas and Wendell Ramos, as well as Klea Pineda, Abdul Raman, Saviour Ramos, Nova Villa, and Ronnie Lazaro.
