Candy Pangilinan tests positive for COVID-19 for the second time around
Candy Pangilinan has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) for the second time around.
On her latest vlog posted on Friday, Candy shared a video of herself in isolation inside her house after experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 on January 3.
The actress said some of the symptoms she had are bodyache, weakness, colds, cough, and chills.
"Para akong may sipon na wala, parang masakit lalamunan ko pero hindi It is the second time na nagkaron ako ng COVID. The last time was December 2020, second time ngayon," Candy said in the video.
Candy said she didn't vlog about the first time she got COVID but right now she felt the need to let people know.
"Now, I really have the feeling na kailangan niyo malaman na it’s really dangerous and it’s really out there and you don’t know where you’ll get it," she said.
Candy also said she feels worse compared to the first time she got infected with COVID-19.
"Nung una ako nagkaron wala akong symtpoms at all ngayon ang dami kong nararamdaman, parang mahahati yung ulo ko, masakit buto buto ko, yung ubo ko andiyan, masakit buto buto ko, nagchichill," she said.
"Hindi ko akalain pwedeng two times ka magkaron," she added.
Candy said she has already consulted her doctor and she is under medication.
The actress also hopes her mother and her son Quentin don't get sick.
The Philippines on Saturday recorded 26,458 new COVID-19 cases, the highest daily tally since the start of pandemic, bringing the nationwide COVID-19 tally to 2,936,875.
The previous highest daily case count reported was 26,303 last September 11, 2021. —JAB, GMA News.
