Say Alonzo relates her experience working in GMA-7

Masayang-masaya si Say Alonzo dahil marami rin daw silang local artists na nag-audition—bukod pa sa mga stage actors and actresses—pero isa siya na pinalad na makuha for one episode of Incredible Tales, isa sa mga toprated at sikat na horror series sa Singapore being hosted by MTV Asia VJ Utt. Sa dalawang episodes na kinuhanan sa Laguna with Direk Jun Lana as the director, isa si Say sa bida sa isang episode, along with Juliana Palermo. Kuwento ni Say sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Two episodes will be shot here. Yung sa amin, it's about manananggal. Ang title niya is ‘Demon's Weep.' Yung isa yata about Balete Drive, although I'm not sure. Yung EP ng show, producer, nandito sa bansa. Pero lahat ng crew at artista ng show, nanggaling dito. I think, first time nilang ginawa na kumuha ng crew that is not really from them [Singapore]. "Bale nag-audition ako for that last week and we started shooting last Tuesday [February 19]. I'm the young pregnant woman here. E, di ba, ang mananggal ang gusto nila yung mga buntis? "Im so happy because this is the first time I'm going to do a project na something internationally. And it's considered international kasi it will be shown in Singapore only," very proud na sabi ng Pinoy Big Brother Season 1 ex-housemate. Kuwento pa ni Say, Pinoy rin ang role niya sa "Demon's Weep" na nanggaling ng Chicago kaya ang mga dialogue raw nila ay English. "Siyempre, major consideration rin para maintindihan ng mga Singaporean," sabi ni Say. VISIBLE IN GMA-7 SHOWS. Aside from the said Singapore TV series, VJ din si Say sa Studio 23. Madalas din siyang nagkakaroon ng guestings sa iba't ibang shows ng GMA-7. Pero alam naman ng lahat na indentified sa Kapamilya network si Say. Ano ang dahilan at mas visible yata siya ngayon sa iba't ibang shows ng Kapuso network? "I'm just happy that GMA is guesting me a lot. I'm just thankful kasi hindi naman lahat ng artista, nakaka-guest on both network. I'm happy that I was able to work with the artists from GMA-7," saad niya. Kumusta naman ang experience niya working in GMA-7? "Well, first nakakakaba," pag-amin niya. "Kasi siyempre, ibang network ako. Pero sobrang nakakatuwa kasi hindi ko na-feel na I'm from another station. I never felt that. Honestly, I never felt that. They are so friendly and accommodating at parang asikasong-asikaso ka nila. Na-feel ko talaga yung sobrang warm talaga." Natuwa rin daw siya when she met Joey de Leon nang mag-taping siya sa Nuts Entertainment dahil aniya, kahit daw malaking artista na ito ay napakabait pa rin at accommodating. "It's an honor for me to work with him. Kasi when I guested in Nuts and na-meet ko siya and got to talk to him after—even sa Takeshi's Castle when I guested—sobrang overwhelming. Even if I just met him for only a couple of times, but when I saw him again in Eat Bulaga, he actually knows who I am. "It's just nice to have that feeling, that this person of this stature knows someone like me. Parang it's kinda cool. Nakakatuwa kasi siyang kausap. Natuwa talaga ko nung na-meet ko siya," very excited na kuwento ni Say. KAPAMILYA OR KAPUSO? Sa pagkakatanda ng PEP, ang last regular show ni Say sa ABS-CBN ay ang Margarita at sa Studio 23 na lang siya ngayon may regular show talaga. Posible kaya na ang guestings niya ngayon sa GMA-7 ay matuloy sa pagiging regular Kapuso niya? "Well, actually, honestly, if given the chance, why not? I've worked na rin with some of the people in GMA, even in movies. Even with Direk Jun Lana and his crew now. Why not? I love to work with the people from GMA and if I'm gonna be given a chance to work and have a show there, I wouldn't say no. In fact, it's still work," pahayag niya. Isiniwalat din ni Say na ang very first TV appearance niya ay sa dating GMA-7 youth-oriented show na Click, kung saan lumabas siya sa tatlong three episodes. After that, nagsimula at nakilala na siya bilang isa sa mga housemate ng PBB Season 1 ng ABS-CBN. Sa huli, sinabi ni Say na kahit nakikita lang siyang nagge-guest nang madalas sa mga shows ng GMA-7, marami na raw talaga ang nagtatanong sa kanya kung lumipat or lilipat na ba siya ng network. Pero aniya, "You know what, If I ‘ll have the chance to work or move in GMA... Oh well, I don't wanna use the word move, parang pangit. But if given the chance, I don't wanna burn bridges. If I can work with both networks, why not? I mean, I'll be the luckiest girl in the world if I can work in both network, so I don't wanna do that.
